On the BBC program I'm in a Girl Group, Hoffs revealed she actually sang the studio recording of the song completely naked after Sigerson pranked her by telling her Olivia Newton-John recorded unclad (a falsehood Sigerson eventually admitted to).[10] "I imagined it would feel like skinny dipping—vulnerable yet freeing – and I decided to try it", she remembered in 2021. Nobody could see me; there was a baffle in front of me and it was dark." She liked the experience enough to sing all her vocals on the album that way.[2]

cool prank bro! fucking perverts can't be stopped anyways Eternal Flame is still a really good record and I'm glad Susanna was afforded a baffle

Possessed's association with Debbie Abono would be a "first" for both sides: Abono would be the band's first manager, and Possessed were Abono's first managed signed band. A grandmother in her mid-fifties at that time,[44][45] Abono had no previous connection to heavy metal music other than as a concert designated driver for her daughters, one of whom was a girlfriend of guitarist Larry LaLonde.[45] Due to generation gap, Abono also had limited awareness of the sometimes blasphemous themes of heavy metal, and was allegedly offended upon reading the lyric sheet of Seven Churches.[35]

As Booker became more familiar to law enforcement in New Orleans due to his drug use, he formed a relationship with District Attorney Harry Connick Sr., who was occasionally Booker's legal counsel. Connick would discuss law with Booker during his visits to the Connick home and made an arrangement with the musician whereby a prison sentence would be nullified in exchange for piano lessons for Connick Sr.'s son Harry Connick Jr.

In regards to the guitar solo in the bridge, Len initially reached out to Eddie Van Halen who was unable to do so. The group then reached out to Slash, although he was unable to perform on the song due to time restraints. The recording studio receptionist later suggested C.C. DeVille to the group, who arrived at the studio two hours later and played the solo in two minutes.

"The 100 Year Starship was named in 2012 by U.S. Senator Tom Coburn as one of the 100 most wasteful government spending projects. Coburn specifically cited a 100 Year Starship workshop that included one session, titled 'Did Jesus Die for Klingons Too?' that debated the implications for Christian philosophy should life be found on other planets."

lol in 1996 a few NASA scientists reported that they'd found evidence of ancient life on Mars. it was fairly quickly discredited as bad science and the story got largely incorrectly boiled down to "There's life *currently* on Mars" in the mainstream, but it shook my church to its core, so much so that the preacher actually made it the focus of his sermon, excitedly pointing out that it had been discredited. like they literally felt microscopic "green men" would disprove their dumb lil beliefs.

also it's p obvious Klingons aren't going to heaven

Camping overnight, a rural invasion, eccentric dress, wild music and sometimes wilder behaviour — these now familiar features of pop festivals happened at Beaulieu each summer, culminating in the so-called 'Battle of Beaulieu' at the 1960 festival, when rival gangs of modern and traditional jazz fans indulged in a spot of what sociologists went on to call 'subcultural contestation'.[6]

Osama Vinladen Jiménez López (born 7 October 2002) is a Peruvian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Peruvian Segunda División side Unión Comercio.

Vinladen is named after Osama bin Laden, the founder of the terrorist group Al-Qaeda;[3] the difference in spelling is due to the similarity of b and v in Spanish.[4] Vinladen has a brother named Sadam Huseín, the Spanish spelling of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, and his sister would have been called George Bush if she were a boy.[5]

The payphone was a touch tone and was located on the left of the "Restrooms" door in the pilot episode. For the first season, it was moved to the right of the doors that led to the kitchen section of the diner. For the second season, it was moved to the wall between the two doors that became two separate restrooms and was replaced by a phone with a rotary dial. From 1978 to 1985, the phone was a touch tone and was located at a section that was a few steps away from the entrance to the diner.

"It's All in the Game" is a pop song whose most successful version was recorded by Tommy Edwards in 1958. Carl Sigman composed the lyrics in 1951 to a wordless 1911 composition titled "Melody in A Major", written by Charles G. Dawes, who was later Vice President of the United States under Calvin Coolidge. It is the only No. 1 single in the U.S. to have been co-written by a U.S. Vice President[1] or a Nobel Peace Prize laureate (Dawes was both).

"I hadn't seen him for too long. I feel he's matured this time," Jackie Chan said. "We didn't talk about unhappy things. It was all family chat. We talked into the night and didn't sleep." Before leaving to do a promotion, he gave his son a haircut.[
