i've found one american roundabout with similar chevrons.

that house is pretty anomalous if this is the western us. also the flora doesn't look right. i think it's aus or nz.

except they all drive on the left *shrug*

those roundabout chevrons in the western us are usually yellow iirc. canada?

i found black and white ones in arizona though not the same exact make

They are not at all common ime, either in California or in most other states.

keep your eye on the abandoned green and white building and go round the roundabout - instant time travel!

I wish I could find it again but there's an amazing time travel sequence from 2009 onwards where there is a row of derelict houses, that then get knocked down, becomes a building site, is replaced with a new row of houses, and finally at least one of the houses starts to become derelict again

Not a lot to go there but it looks kind of dry and Mediterranean. Maybe southern Italy or southern Spain.

Trees look as though they might be olive trees. Assuming the elevated thoroughfare is a train line, I'm wondering why it has to be elevated in what looks like a flat terrain. In any case an expensive piece of infrastructure so I'm guessing we're looking at a relatively poor region but in a relatively rich country, so still checking out for southern Italy or Spain

Yes looking a lot less southern in this pic. It looks like a new-build train station somewhere rural, presumably just outside a city. I don't know about Italy, but in France, the newer TGV lines often have their stations somewhere rural, a short drive from the town/city it's associated with. Maybe Italy has something similar so we'd be looking at a relatively recently built high-speed rail station.

I may be wrong but the structure on the right (second pic) looks like a passageway for people and bikes to jump over a main road or highway, with the separators in the middle. Autostrada signs are green in Italy though.
Climate looks too dry for Northern Italy on first pic (olive trees and cacti, dry river). Pretty derelict infrastructure too.

Doesn't southern Spain have a lot of those unfinished type "oops, we went bankrupt before we could finish building your holiday villa" type regions?

Oh man, I have BEEN in the roundabout in Oroville— I lived in Chico for a while, I immediately recognized it.

I still don't know what I'm looking at here I'm afraid - a raised railway viaduct over maybe flood plains? (but the houses and this road are on this level too) & the Harm Chef graffiti doesn't ring a bell either :(

That tow sign really helped here - I initially thought Zaragoza or similar but watching too much GeoWizard has got me inspecting motorway furniture and whatnot these days and that seemed to indicate Italy also. Had to check various stadio and it's not such an obvious one as the club's no Serie A mainstay.

xp also italy but those apartment blocks look post-soviet to me? scrub and trees in the far left bg feel north mediterranean. but also far enough south for non-sloped roofs.
