Sorry to derail back to the indictment but VG that was a good Twitter thread.
The indictment itself is damning and sickening in how brainwashed and culty the inner circle was. For example, Co-Conspirator 4, a DOJ official who tried to "fire" his supervisor for not permitting a letter to go out to "contested states" on DOJ letterhead etc.
Sadlol at Paragraph 26, quoting one 45 campaign emailing another:
26. . . . As early as mid-November, for instance, the Senior Campaign Advisor had informed the Defendant that his claims of a large number of dead voters in Georgia were untrue. With respect to the persistent false claim regarding State Farm Arena, on December 8, the Senior Campaign Advisor wrote in an email, When our research and campaign legal team can't back up any of the claims made by our Elite Strike Force Legal Team, you can see why we're 0-32 on our cases. I'll obviously hustle to help on all fronts, but it's tough to own any of this when it's all just conspiracy shit beamed down from the mothership.

I didn't realize it was the Dunphy lawsuit and that article barely touches upon the many, many, many terrible things that went on
I don't have the prior articles handy, but the jist is that Giuliani met this woman who was going through a rough time and strung her along as a not-quite-assistant that he would share all kinds of confidential info with her, refuse to actually put her on payroll, and just slipped her cash occasionally while treating her terribly (and likely highly illegally) as a not-quite-assistant not-quite-girlfriend
She has my sympathies although "I really need to move forward in life, Rudy Giuliani seems like he's moving up in the world" is not exactly the best starting point

― rob, Wednesday, 2 August 2023 18:45 (nine months ago) link
He's certainly had one of the steepest falls from grace. However, I don't see how he tops his master. He's Renfield to Trump's Dracula.
― immodesty blaise (jimbeaux), Wednesday, 2 August 2023 18:47 (nine months ago) link
Well what makes his fall so much more crazy is that he was actually elevated on this huge pedestal after 9/11, he was being lionized left and right in the few months afterwards. Setting aside whether he even deserved any of that or not, he could have just so easily had stayed quiet and slinked off into the night with a golden boy halo at the end.

to Ned's original point, the evidence in the Dunphy case is a distraction for him, and it's also conceivable the evidence in that case could converge with the indictment.
There is an allegation Giuliani admitted he did not actually believe they could prove the election had been stolen:
"Around this time, Giuliani stated, “When I walked out of the White House on the night before he was going to leave, I could feel pain” and thought, “Well, not gonna be back here for four years. That’s for sure.” Ms. Dunphy understood these comments as an acknowledgment by Giuliani that Donald Trump would be unable to prove that the election had been “stolen,” despite what Giuliani and Trump had been claiming publicly."
