Turns out, it wasn’t his shot at all. It was a wrongly measured 3-point line.

The line’s curvature was painted too far back on the blue-and-yellow floor that Denver will use for the NBA’s In-season Tournament that made its debut Friday night.

it obviously makes complete sense, but there's something funny about an NBA player's three pointer being so perfectly calibrated that after missing short on a few shots the assumption was immediately "there is something wrong with this court" and not "there is something wrong with my shot"

scoot got contact lenses recently and while he was playing he kept rubbing his eyes etc so the glasses are there to prevent him from messing around with the lenses while on court iirc
