ZZ Top is definitely the fourth biggest draw on that day, so correctly placed, I think? What am I missing?
― alpine static, Thursday, 25 January 2024 19:20 (three months ago) link
ZZ Top's last tour took in $26M. I know those jam bands draw in a lot of festival fans, but is Fleet Foxes raking in that much?

I don't know about revenue. I just know Trey (especially) and MMJ both play headline shows to bigger crowds in my neck of the woods than ZZ Top. Maybe they're bigger than Fleet Foxes, though. Probably so, now that I think about it.

There is no such band called Yam Haus, no one got together and practiced and wrote songs and said "hey I know let's call ourselves Yam Haus", impossible.

I took my younger sister to see Goo Goo Dolls and Tonic on a tour that I'm just now reminded was called "MP3.com's Music & Technology tour". I remember being surprised that they played a handful (5, as I see from setlists.fm) of songs from the pre-Boy Named Goo albums. The funniest part was when John Rzeznik forgot the lyrics to the second verse of "Name", so they played the chorus two more times in a row and ended the song.

― CEO Greedwagon (Neanderthal), Thursday, 14 March 2024 19:08 (one month ago) link
I mean, this was back in 1999 so I guess they had to pad out the setlist a little at that point.
