According to CHEQ, a whopping 75.85 percent of traffic from X to its advertising clients' websites during the weekend of the Super Bowl was fake.

"I've never seen anything even remotely close to 50 percent, not to mention 76 percent," CHEQ founder and CEO Guy Tytunovich told Mashable regarding X's fake traffic data. "I'm amazed…I've never, ever, ever, ever seen anything even remotely close."

My favorite ad recently was accounting advice for pastors, the tag line was actually along the lines of “is your bookkeeping serving Christ?”

I think liberals struggle with this; they tend to either want to treat dangerous and bigoted ideas as too explosive to handle or acknowledge, or they engage with them as a kind of logical abstraction to be debated. Don't do either: say they're bad, they're gross, but don't hide.

this is obviously the approach Stancil has been taking over the last few weeks by endlessly arguing with the 'race science' IQ difference people, but this seems like the worst of all worlds? You're engaging with them, so helping spread their ideas to people who might not otherwise have seen them, but also refusing to actually debate them or make an argument about why they're wrong, so providing more fodder for them to claim that they're being persecuted for "just asking questions". What good is Stancil's method of engaging with these guys actually doing anyone except the racists (and maybe Stancil himself)?

every time I look at Twitter these days, I'm struck by how much the presence of blue-check subscribers has degraded the experience. I know this point has been made many times before, but reading replies to any semi-popular tweet now is painful. is the subscription revenue really worth it?

this is the common sense leadership, bridging crypto and woke, that our nation so badly needs

His take is simple, but tweets are like that. It's not like he got it badly wrong. otoh, he's a white multi-billionaire and a publicity hog who loves to hear himself talk, so for him it's like having an opinion about dolphins or the price of wheat.
