My older brother climbs rocks. I dunno. I have dinky forearms for gentle music making. Guitar nails on my right hand. I don’t think I can do it. I want to, my brother loves it, says it’s the best core workout around.

wait, maybe i didn't mean lob = putting. i meant those shots where someone runs up to the ball after some huge smash by their opponent and then they just barely touch the ball and it just barely goes over the net and its impossible to return. i love those. finesse! touch! more than muscle! i like those players who are good at coming up to the net. it shows courage. omg, tennis is WAY harder than golf. tennis is insane. at least on a pro level.

Finesse touch sure but the tennis players don't spend agonized minutes pacing up and down, trying to work out how best to hit the ball, holding their racket up to work out angles and bevels in the court, asking a ballboy what he thinks, before dinking the ball over the net.

I was on the golf team in high school, and became somewhat proficient despite all my efforts to not take it seriously. Haven't played in years, nay, decades

There are many p good reasons to find golf hateable. I love to play though and the one and so far only time I shot under par for 18 holes at my local course is without question the greatest achievement of my life and the 10 minute walk home from the 18th green to my house was the happiest I have ever felt about anything I've ever done in my entire life. I'm p sure I will never be that deliriously happy again.

That said I also remember playing with a couple of friends when I was about 12 and when they committed some etiquette faux pas that I managed to avoid a couple of adult members playing behind us shouted at them pointed to me and called out "don't walk over the green, look even the darkie gets it".

i suck at all games like that though. my brain doesn't do them right. i refuse to play scrabble. i have some sort of letter and number thing. a spatial thing. i can't see...the patterns. i am hopeless at anagrams. i would do the word search when i was a kid. that was fun. those and mazes. i could handle that kind of tedium. my brain loves maze tedium. i don't ever actually have to get to the end of the maze. i'm happy in there.

I make my entire living with words and word-based puzzle games are a complete blind spot for me. Can't do 'em, don't want to. I play solitaire and Tetris on my phone to drop my brain into a low enough gear that I can fall asleep.

I'm bad at games in general, but word games kill me. My Brain is not wire in a way that will allow me to do a crossword puzzle.

Dis tracks are also beyond me. I'll read that Kendrick is killing Drake in some song and I get excited and when I listen to it... "Is that all there is?" Sounds like teenagers bickering, who gives a shit.
