yeah I saw both threads come up, but whatever the intention, in reality it's inevitably turned into another "what bands suck?" thread, and you know as much as I have no time for U2 or RHCP or whatever, it's just tiresome to read.

I don’t hate U2 or RHCP … it’s also a question that hinges on reasons for dislike as people in the thread keep pointing out… if you can’t really remember what they sound like, what’s the point of wasting your unhearing genie wish on them?
