four months pass...

My friend bought Begin to Hope and now he plays it constantly in his car, mostly because he knows I hate it. Regina Spektor, The Darkness, and Arnold Schoenberg all share the ability to make me feel physically uncomfortable with their music.

Maybe it's just this album. I heard the song Us once and thought it was really good. But Fidelity especially makes me want to stick hot irons in my ears.

Saw her in DC a year ago and wholeheartedly agree. The whole "chair as instrument" thing is nice.
