Livvie have you tried the Rancho?? I love Ranchos, mmm ranch.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 01:35 (twenty years ago) link

Yes, they are so good! "Rancho" makes me think of the world's greatest bad movie, Welcome To 18. They went to work on a dude ranch before they ran away with Fuschia the 6'4" transvestite.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 02:38 (twenty years ago) link

but theyre little & pathetic so you eat a BUNCH of them, the best part! compared to a big hamburger no, they do not compare, but in their own category theyre really quite fun

black plastic (black plastic), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 03:16 (twenty years ago) link

Aw man, Mc Donald's...I only go there when I'm backed into a corner and have no other form of sustinance. Guys...seriously. If you wanna lose weight, go veg. (That's why I did it...I still wear my leather Docs with pride!). I went from 175 to 135 from switching to meatless...I'm about to go back cause I'm back up to 160. It's killin' me.

Lola Falana, Tuesday, 29 July 2003 03:41 (twenty years ago) link

Lola, I love you.In a perverse sick Tales from the Crypt vampire blood sucking vile disturbing sort of way.I love you.

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 05:34 (twenty years ago) link

McD's hamburgers (in NZ) are 95c and cheeseburgers are $1.55, does one piece of cheese really cost 60c?? Does anyone actually eat the hamburger? The cheeseburger is a good snack, but I really don't understand the point of the hamburger.
(I might be wrong about the prices, but tehy're something similar to that.)

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 08:21 (twenty years ago) link

What the hell are you talking about?

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 09:14 (twenty years ago) link

Cheeseburgers, they're what the thread's about.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 09:51 (twenty years ago) link

ive never eaten the hamburgers there. i dont think i ever will, gross!

black plastic (black plastic), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 14:40 (twenty years ago) link

I think Steve Martin was right when he said all McDonald's food comes from this one big machine that just runs on some kind of mystery food, and all you have to do is press a button and it just shapes the food into whatever it is you think you want to be eating. Give me a Big Kahuna Burger anyday.

Lola, is the In-and-Out burger any good? I hear so much about it, but when I was in Cali I didn't get to try it...

The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 16:11 (twenty years ago) link

In-And-Out is an abimnation unto the Lord. It's like every other overrated place. It falls into the category with Starbucks, Krispy Kreme...etc. People flock to this damn place because they swear it's the greatest thing ever. I really don't see the greatness of it. I mean, yeah I'll go there if I'm in a group or something...but these people stand in line for freaken 45 minutes just to get these things...THEY ARENT THAT GREAT. No burger is worth 45 minutes of my life. Honestly? You wanna good burger? Go to TGIFRiday's (where I work). WE use 100% Angus beef. Our burgers rock.

Lola Falana, Tuesday, 29 July 2003 16:38 (twenty years ago) link

angus beef, hahahahha, so does HARDEES! sorry, i just keep hearing all about angus beef on those commercials. i guess it's good stuff then?

black plastic (black plastic), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 17:08 (twenty years ago) link

okay we so are NOT Hardees!!!

Lola Falana, Tuesday, 29 July 2003 17:23 (twenty years ago) link

i know i know! i've eaten at TGIF's bunches of times, it's great. but hardees does have angus beef, too. allegedly.

black plastic (black plastic), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 19:03 (twenty years ago) link

Allegedly... mwa hah ha ha!

Lola Falana, Tuesday, 29 July 2003 19:21 (twenty years ago) link

KFC is rancid;/

jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 21:36 (twenty years ago) link

You are all still stupid.

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 05:22 (twenty years ago) link

KFC is fucking disgusting. Why would anyone subject themselves to that, I do not know. Plus they have a desperate/out of work Jason Alexander doing their promos...I wonder how he's dealing with that. I'd become a ravaging alcoholic.

Lola Falana, Wednesday, 30 July 2003 06:11 (twenty years ago) link

Whatever, in New Zealand KFC is delicious! I have to like it because it's the only big fast food chain up the road from me.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 08:19 (twenty years ago) link

bucket of finger licking grease to be honest;/ blergh.

jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 12:09 (twenty years ago) link

You mean YUM surely!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 12:29 (twenty years ago) link

their mashed potatoes are great - i like their sandwiches but not the basic chicken, tho i really dont like fried chicken on the bones, in general

black plastic (black plastic), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 12:39 (twenty years ago) link

no, i don't like eating anything from the bone, so to speak:|:|:|:|:| fs.

jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 13:07 (twenty years ago) link

What about MASHIES?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 31 July 2003 00:57 (twenty years ago) link

Argh, all this talk about food is more than I can take. I should go eat dinner...

The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Thursday, 31 July 2003 02:47 (twenty years ago) link

Man, the chicken situation in NZ must blow humongous dick.

oops (Oops), Thursday, 31 July 2003 06:39 (twenty years ago) link

Yeah I think that's what it's made of

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 31 July 2003 07:10 (twenty years ago) link

And yet it still tastes really good. (What a predictable joke)

Livvie T (Livvie), Thursday, 31 July 2003 09:04 (twenty years ago) link

Sorry.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 31 July 2003 09:16 (twenty years ago) link

And don't you mean "so"?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 31 July 2003 09:16 (twenty years ago) link

You'd probably know better than I would, Assdrew.

Livvie (Livvie), Thursday, 31 July 2003 09:28 (twenty years ago) link

(I meant my joke before, btw)

Livvie (Livvie), Thursday, 31 July 2003 10:15 (twenty years ago) link

I was just thinking when I made it, the only person that MIGHT not have seen it coming would be Adrian and he'd prob miss it anyway

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 31 July 2003 10:44 (twenty years ago) link

Adrian doesn't seem to viddy any joke or sarcasm to be honest, and i'm getting a malenky bit worried i'm stooping to his level to retort to him 'cause it's all the same and i'm sick of my responses to his same old same old, so i'm ittying to stop:) as i'm sure you're all very interessovated to know this choodessney news:)

jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Friday, 1 August 2003 12:44 (twenty years ago) link

Good for you. It's SO tempting, esp if you think other people are just going to do it if you don't.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 1 August 2003 13:07 (twenty years ago) link

it be. :/

jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Friday, 1 August 2003 15:14 (twenty years ago) link

Maybe its because none of you are funny? Huh??????????????????????????

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Saturday, 2 August 2003 01:28 (twenty years ago) link

Why is it so hard for you to only use ONE fucking question mark or exclamation point? What is the point? I think you have your punctuation keys hooked up to an electronic ass plug or something...

Lola Falana, Saturday, 2 August 2003 03:11 (twenty years ago) link

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Fuck you Lola

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Saturday, 2 August 2003 03:45 (twenty years ago) link

Lol. I didn't expect ANYTHING else from you. You're like a little 2 year old that throws tantrums just to show his independence off to his parents. Look honey, I know you are trying to establish yourself as a brave, independent little young man, but if you don't stop your tantrums, Mommy is going to have to put you in time out.

Lola Falana, Saturday, 2 August 2003 07:38 (twenty years ago) link

Lola, do you look sexy?

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Saturday, 2 August 2003 12:08 (twenty years ago) link

Girls seem to find me very attractive. Ask Dan...he's seen me. I went to a club the other night and I hadto beat the hot chicks off with a stick...so yeah..I'd say I'm pretty sexy. I need to drop about 20 lbs tho...Then I'LL be happy with MYSELF.

Lola Falana, Saturday, 2 August 2003 21:26 (twenty years ago) link

Show me a picture of yourself naked.

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Sunday, 3 August 2003 04:22 (twenty years ago) link

maybe it's 'cause you're like a broken record????????????????????????????????????????????????????
xD

jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Sunday, 3 August 2003 11:23 (twenty years ago) link

Mc Donalds question for non NZers - do you have that "Chick n' Mc Cheese" burger? Do you feel stupid asking for it?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 02:11 (twenty years ago) link

Not that I know of. Me and Ronald McDonald don't kick it like we used to, tho.

PS This board is starting to piss me off because everytime I come here I get more hungry then I already am!!!! lol

The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 04:33 (twenty years ago) link

We had that burger today and then went to the Hare Krishna place for proper dinner. I wonder if anyone else has had that strange combination.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 08:37 (twenty years ago) link

there's this special chicken one here atm i'm not sure what it's called but they put a picture of it on the box and they shouldn't do thast 'cause it's like you wonder if the thing in the box is the thing on the box:/

jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 09:25 (twenty years ago) link

They put a chicken on the box? Haha!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 10:06 (twenty years ago) link

haha not like stick a flailing chicken on the outside of the box:P haha, just put a pictuare of the "burger" on it.

jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 15:16 (twenty years ago) link

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 19:43 (twenty years ago) link

My favourite bit is that dessert and I like the way it's a really filling meal. Also it was nice on my sore throat.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 6 August 2003 08:56 (twenty years ago) link

fourteen years pass...

lol so on different days and at different McDonald's, a friend and I tried one of the new Garlic White Cheddar sandwiches (she got crispy chicken, I got grilled), the ones that are supposed to come with garlic chips, and instead of the garlic chips on top, they inserted little crispy grilled onions even though the website lists the chips. friend was pissed as she has an intestinal issue and can't eat onions.

probably subbing in cheaper, already on site ingredients for stuff they have to order.
