San Francisco and what to do in it

I remember driving down Fell after BtB and off the Panhandle there was a girl with her number still on laying down on the sidewalk, with one hand clutching the base of a streetlamp as if to insure that she didn't fall off the face of the earth. On the stoop all of ten feet away, a group of people who I presumed to be her friends were swaying about around their empty keg. The whole street looked like an alcoholocaust.

Just in time for Bike To Work Day! (also this Thursday)

Fuck biking 100 miles for work.

I bike 1 mile to work everyday. I didn't have to work today so instead I biked through the park to the ocean then over the bridge etc. it felt like 100 miles.

what do i do w/my mom this weekeend during the days? she really wants to go see frida kahlo, but it's gonna be fucking packed and i just got back from mexico city and don't care to see more stuff.

i'm thinking maybe a hike at land's end? that seems easy. maybe shopping? maybe thai brunch in berkeley?

Land's End hike is pretty mellow - not very strenuous and plenty scenic

Went to Nick's Crispy Tacos last night. Pretty good, though it would've been better if I was drunk. Off to the ballgame now.

I'll be in the Bay Area from the evening of the 17th to the morning of the 21st, if anyone wants to meet up. I haven't been to Pac Bell yet, so a Marlins-Giants game on Tues or Wed is in store hopefully. Haven't thought about hotel yet...are there recommendations for something not too insanely priced? Either side of the bay is okay -- nearness to BART is a plus for East Bay, obv.

Excellent, multiple trains to choose from. I'm not exactly sure when we'll get free from the fair on Sunday.

I stuck my head in Tommy's one day when I was in the city for a concert, decided not to eat there. Can't remember why.

Cheap drinks, though and the au jus was a childhood favorite.

We don't really have much of an agenda for our stay in SF, other than meeting Michael and any other ILXors who want to meet up, good eats, good drinks, cool weather, a Giants game... Anybody have any must-see or must-do recommendations?

I am holding out on plans because I may have to go to Vega$ but I will let you know the sitch as it develops.
