Lowlight:
Getting up and finding there was no milk in the fridge for my breakfast coffee and cereal. God, I hate that.

Highlight:
Some relaxed sex with my girlfriend after a bottle of wine. (Although this technically happened after midnight and therefore today, so alternatively I'll nominate a brief moment in the afternoon when the rain stopped and the sky cleared and I looked up and the sky was a piercing blue colour.)

Having to get up for work after a shitty night's sleep.

Highlight:
Looking at a house for rent which was actually just what we wanted.

lowlight: falling asleep on bus home, 3 times, that saw me going from tottenham court road to wood green back to trafalgar square back to palmers green and then finally home in holloway.

haha we were gonna go to the metro matt but it was full by the time we got there. and ended up at some other place! (i had no idea by then where i was - the place was like all RED and BRIGHT and had some kind of PICTURES OF THINGS on the walls) and a really crappy band was playing. and costed a certain amount of money to get in. but they served beer in a nice glass which i took to accompany me for the fabled trip along the 29 bus route later on.

Lowlight: boss being complete control freak, naysaying all proposals put forward in our section meeting (NB. she does not actually bother to ATTEND these meetings) and also saying that we were 'discussing the wrong sorts of issues'. That's the last time I bother forwarding minutes to her.

Highlight: stir fry made from home sprouted mung beans wot Matt has carefully tended for 10 days (felt a bit like eating our children though ew) and then having some great ***.

hstencil, it was Blue Ribbon Sushi on 5th Ave. Part of restaurant week. The appetizers were great, the sushi OK - better than store bought of course but some of it was still a bit chilly. Oshima on 7th ave is a bit better I think, even though it has less atmosphere.

it's a vile place, but the wetherspoon's next to the highbury/islington tube has stupid happy hour prices (have to get people drunk quickly to keep them from running out, i assume). last time in i think i spent about 8 quid on a round for 6 people.
