I just saw this last night and was struck by 1) Herzog's restraint (not playing the snuff tape) 2) the outrageously good pacing 3) how TT (and his backstory) is so representative of the "I'm going to move to Alaska" type.
Do you think he was actually doing anything at all to "save" the bears? I thought the guy who worked at the museum had a good point: that the bears shouldn't be socialized to humans and that doing so presented a greater harm to them than the poachers from whom TT was purportedly protecting them.
