Anti-ambition: is it self-denial or self-preservation?

Given what people are saying on the news about the declining standards of A-levels, you should probably still feel free to consider yourself a failure if you got under 40 points total.

(although when I did it I think UCAS officially capped your points score at 30. I don't even know if they still use the points system)

congratulations hari! if you really did want to fail, then bad luck. either way, you win!

ps university is pretty good anyway, its a chance to meet a bunch of people and once yr out of there you might miss the days of being to encounter people yr own age etc. the problem is, its basicalyl a really expensive social development programme. also, disserations fucking suck

Congrats, Hari! I'm not necessarily recommending this, but getting the grades does not compel you to take up the place. Have a think about whether you want uni; if so, what do you want to study, and where?
