Most remixes of a single song?

The most I can think of is Moby's "Go" (around 15-20, at the very least) but surely something's got to beat that.

Doesn't FSOL's godlike "Papua New Guinea" officially hold this record?

Surprisingly, I think there are only about ten remixes of that song. "Dominator" has at least 16, "Go" has about the same and "Paupau New Guinea" has something like 20.

Didn't U2 release about nineteen-dozen remixes of "Lemon"? The great irony there is that the majority of U2 fans never really bought their 'dance' direction -- and serious 'dance music' fans wouldn't touch a U2 single with a ten foot barge pole.

(The biggest irony is that it should have been "Numb".)

Yeah their dance direction was lame, except they built the Kitchen nightclub in Dublin and went about 4 times so they'd be seen to really mean it. It's the one thing I am eternally grateful to them for. However an extra negative mark for them is that they stopped giving a shit about running it and then last year turned it into a gym.
