I recently bought the Trojan "Tighten Up" Best Of and was so impressed I had to go out and get more! There really isn't a bad track on the whole double album!
I ended up with the new "Sweet Harmony" double-cd mixed by Ranking Miss P which went straight back to the shops, not because it was awful but because there was just so much clag amongst the gems.
I swapped "Sweet Harmony" for "Funky Kingston", which is quite good fun but not as good as "Tighten Up" since it seems to rely on loads of near-identical R'n'B covers.
I've also noticed that the commetaries written by Michael de Kooning on the inlay of these comps is so badly written they put me off the music in hand. They never seem to relate to the music on the compilation, mentioning loads of tracks that aren't on the cd, and analysing the music from a one-dimensional Londoncentric point of view.
