the farm! wow. i had a picture of keith out of the farm on my english folder in lower sixth (1991). another lad in the class had a big picture of gedge. actually, it was admiring gedge's haircut that got me into the weddoes. this is true.

who else is in the band? mrs fiendish and i were discussing whether it's worth going to see them, but bez/shaun/rowetta plus mooks != the mondays.

that said, the new stuff is meant to be ace. haven't heard any yet, but will check out myspace etc tomorrow.

There's something unsettling about having a new Happy Mondays album released in 2007 but I haven't put my finger on it yet, maaaaan.

Yeah, but 'Rhinohead' is a different class - not just for The Happy Mondays, but almost everything this year.

We've learned that Shaun Ryder, Paul Ryder, Gary Whelan, Bez and Rowetta Satchell, along with former members Mark Day and Paul Davis (not included in the 1999 reformation) are currently taking bookings for gigs and festival appearances.

I mean I know it's shameless to keep milking it so much but as far as I'm concerned the fact that Shaun & Bez & and co are still alive 30 years later gives them the right to do anything they want!
