I know this kind of thing is constantly surfacing in the news, but this one seems a little more concrete..

Not worried, but saddened and angered. The BPI just don't get it. They have no understanding of why most people swap music. They don't love music, they love money. Don't get me wrong I'd love some money too - I'd love to be paid whatever Peter J. of the BPI is paid - but I love hearing new music and I love letting other people hear new music.

Crap, I didn't want to comment further but holy f-ing sht - a postman! Way to go BPI, bankrupt some poor bloke who earns, what 18k or 19k? Really bringing the bad guys down ain't we? How do these fckrs (BPI people not postmen) sleep at night?

SERENITY NOW!

Yeh no doubt there evil, it makes no sense, whatever, but it does intrigue me, how did they get these people , what network where they on, why did they pick them, and how are they coming up with amount of the fines?

If you can bear to read the self rightous BPI site it tells you names, places and the networds they were using.

They now say they are looking at other networks.

They will probably come after me for using a bit of their website.

Does anyone know of anyone in Scotland who had the BPI onto them? I'm doing a story for BBC news.

We went through this a couple years ago in the US. It chills out file sharers who know fuckall about computers. For the rest of the population, life goes on. eMu!e, S!sk, YouShendIt, etc.
