Why can't people discuss upcoming musical performances on this board?

But they can promote their own albums coming out?

(Like Basement Jaxx) My last post doesn't sell anything. It's a performance that you can hear for free. Not an album I want you to buy.

I'm really asking. Not trying to be a pill. I thought some of you liked Ariel Pink. Sorry if you thought I was advertising.

his first thread was about how it's hard to blog and get other bloggers to link you. in order for people to fully get this, he linked to his blog to show people the thread in which he discussed it. also, he got a lot of responses and obviously SOME people, including myself, were enjoying it. just because ned doesn't deem something fit, doesn't mean others don't enjoy it. if you'd taken the time to read it, you'd see it was a totally harmless fun thread.
