Request for deletion

Would it be possible to delete the final sentence of Aimless’s second posting (4 August) to ‘This is the thread where the lurkers say hello’, which includes a link to my blog?

The problem is that the previous paragraph mentions my full name. My blog is written under a pseudonym and I’ve made a great effort to ensure there isn’t a page anywhere on the web connecting me directly with it.

Hope you can help. Sorry about the delay in asking but Google (and I) didn’t discover the lurkers thread until yesterday.

In the circumstances I’d appreciate it if you deleted this request too.

can you post a link to the post in question, or at least the thread?

Can someone please either remove the thread UK ILXORS want a free xbox360?

or at least remove the referral address so that other people don't get caught out?

Thanks.

how does that look?

I think It would be better if the whole referral address was removed.
Especially for me as it will stop people signing up with my email referral. And stop others from having any problems by signing up.

But keeping the thread as a warning to people is a good idea.

ok, I understand a little better how the whole scheme works from a technical standpoint now--I took out your referral number but left the main address, that way if someone googles the URL or 'business' they might come up with the warnings on that thread.
