Pump tape sounds pretty fucking incredible on first listen

Keef really does sound reinvigorated lately, I just wish he could keep the spark going for an entire project. All his projects start to sound pretty tired/lazy to me after a little while, even Thot Breaker, which teases a bunch of exciting ideas

thot breaker is not his best tape this year

theres basically nothing wrong w the first tape he dropped this year aside from mixing issues, i dont think any of his tapes are perfect but he's basically in a zone where nothing he does gets benefit of the doubt...people were cheerleading the much wacker young thug album out the gate

*any of his tapes this year were perfect ... back from the dead 2, almightyso, almightydp are another story

music is horrible

just listened to it like eight times on repeat, it's exactly what i wanted (which is to say, 'gucci gang' fifteen times)

I had trouble listening to it one time through, said this on twitter but despite it being music for ppl w ostensibly short attention spans I felt like my attention span was even shorter

Trippie redd tape was mega underwhelming imo

Not gonna write him off just felt rushed

really? i didn't think it was as good as the first one, but it wasn't that big a drop-off

i felt like the songwriting was a lot more hurried

but it also might have been unfairly contrasting w/ my new fav rapper 03 greedo whose melodic choices tend to make these younger kids seem like they're finger painting
