I've changed it back for now only because I didn't realize that fit and working again wasn't the threadstarter and I should have gotten more input from regular members of the thread. However, I'd like to open it up for discussion. I think fit and working again's idea is a good one.

If it goes through, can I have all threads that mention the Doors on ILM to have music or band put in the title so I don't think they're about DIY please?

Aldo, I'm guessing that the problem is primarily with mobile users, who don't see what boards threads are from on sna. As someone who doesn't read the thread, if you guys can tolerate occasional gaffes as those that fit and working again listed, then so be it. I just thought that if someone was asking for something to be done about it, then it must be some kind of problem for people.

the gaffes are a venerable and useful feature

I use SNA and do get confused sometimes - I almost always read the thread so I won't post, but it does get annoying clicking on to stuff that's of no interest to me. You wouldn't change the ILB thread because I'm fairly sure that that thread is meant to cover most things, so putting a list of comic books there would be fine, I think?

Color-coding the boards that show on SNA helps a lot with this.

Eh? Having ILC on your SNA doesn't mean you pay any extra attention to it, it just means you haven't decided "this board will never show me anything of interest, away with it forever". I have almost no boards blocked from my SNA, because most of them have at least a small chance of being interesting at some point.

An all-time classic thread title like "2014 what are you reading thread" must remain unsullied obv

The threadstarter doesn't want it changed. Why not start a new thread with a title you like better and encourage people to use that instead?
